Biography

Samuel Jay Patrick is an Irish writer and director whose debut feature script Daisychain was shortlisted for the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Award 2024.

His co-written debut series Diving was one of six projects selected for the Fís TV Summit 2025, and his three shorts have shown at international festivals and been selected for Clermont-Ferrand's 2025 market.

He graduated from London Film School in 2025 where he was shortlisted for Casarotto, Ramsay & Associates' Outstanding Student Award.

His road to film began photographing the Irish music scene. He has since lived between inner-city Dublin and Paris, both of which inform his writing.
